A proposal to operate, grow, and maximize the value of your auto repair and towing business — so you get the outcome you envisioned when you started.
⚠️ One Early Observation: I noticed a few things about the business name being considered — on the trademark and SEO front — worth a quick conversation before we commit to anything. Happy to walk through it.
The bones of a thriving business are already in place. What's missing is the operating layer on top of it.
High-traffic road at a busy intersection — exactly where people think about auto repair every single day.
Mechanics already working, lifts operational, equipment in place. The infrastructure is live and generating revenue.
A significant competitive moat that opens an entire revenue stream most shops in the area simply don't have.
The shop's challenges aren't mechanical — they're operational. That's exactly the gap I fill.
| What's Working ✓ | What's Missing → |
|---|---|
| Bays are running | Customer-facing experience & first impressions |
| Mechanics are present | Marketing, lead flow, and online visibility |
| Corner location with traffic | Scheduling systems and operational workflow |
| Towing license in progress | Dispatch technology and active towing operations |
| Equipment in place | Someone to run it all day to day |
The fix isn't mechanical — it's operational. The right operator doesn't just keep the bays busy today. They build systems that keep the bays busy without anyone standing over them — which confirms your initial read: this is a high-value property, and with the right operational experience behind it, it becomes a high-value business sale in three to four years from now.
My journey began inside a family business — ten years working every position from the ground up, ultimately running the entire operation. I took everything I learned there and built my own companies from scratch. What you see across Jonroc, Easy Pet Yes, and Get Books Reviewed is that foundation in action.
Party Perfect is where I learned to operate. Jonroc is where I proved I could do it across industries I'd never worked in before. I've taken on businesses ranging from pet care to publishing, grown them fast, and built them to run without me — which is exactly the model I'm bringing here.
$10,000 budget → $2,000,000+/year in 8 months
Engaged with a modest initial budget. Through targeted digital marketing, funnel optimization, and growth systems, we scaled their annual revenue past $2M within eight months — a 200x return on initial investment. Along the way, we generated over 300 verified customer reviews with an average rating of 4.8 stars — an exceptionally high score for this type of industry.
Acquired, systematized, stepped back — now board-level only
Purchased this business from its previous owner, rebuilt operations from the ground up, and built the infrastructure for it to run without me. Today I handle only payroll, budget approvals, and high-level decisions. A full-time CEO I recruited runs the company day to day.
⚖️ By the Book — No Exceptions: I operate with full legal and regulatory compliance in everything I do — mechanical standards, licensing, taxes, employment law, permits. I won't cut corners, work under the table, or operate in gray areas. Ever. This isn't just a preference; it's a hard requirement for how I run any business I'm involved in. You will always know exactly where we stand.
I've been hands-on with nearly every system — engine teardowns, electronics troubleshooting, brake jobs, transmission replacements, and more. I understand how every system works and what breaks.
Example: A proper brake job means supporting the caliper so it never hangs by its hose, pulling and re-greasing the slider pins with high-temp brake grease, cleaning the bracket with a wire brush and brake cleaner, installing new clips, applying grease only to the pad's metal contact ears — never the friction surface — and finishing with a proper bed-in procedure. A shortcut mechanic swaps the pads and calls it done. I know the difference — and so will our customers when their brakes last.
My existing businesses already run a full SEO and digital marketing operation. That team comes with me. This shop gets professional marketing from day one — without hiring a marketing department.
Our team specializes in local SEO, with a proven track record of taking dozens of companies from complete obscurity to first-page Google results — without ad spend. That same firepower goes to work for this shop immediately.
Everything I build eventually runs without me standing over it. Parts ordering, scheduling, customer communication, quality checks — it all gets systematized. That's what makes a business sellable.
The best shop owners aren't always the best mechanics. Your average mechanic is excellent with cars — and terrible at budgets, marketing, and customer experience. I bring what's actually missing here.
This is where I'm genuinely different from any other operator you'd consider. I don't just use technology — I build it, and I've already proven it works.
I've built multi-agent AI systems that run large portions of my existing businesses. I've moved one company to a new CEO because my systems made it possible to step back. Same playbook applies here.
Modern AI can identify engine components from a photo and walk through diagnostics step by step. We use it to supplement mechanic experience and ensure nothing gets missed — even on unfamiliar and uncommon jobs.
I can build a system that scrapes multiple supplier databases simultaneously and surfaces the best price and availability before a part is ever ordered — cutting costs and wait times from day one.
Mechanics can also photograph the part they need replaced. AI identifies it instantly and feeds it directly into the sourcing system — eliminating the guesswork that leads to wrong parts being ordered in the first place.
Before any part ships, our AI cross-checks it against the vehicle's exact year, make, and model. It's not about distrusting the mechanics — it's about giving everyone a second set of eyes. Wrong parts mean wasted time, delayed repairs, and frustrated customers. This layer quietly eliminates that problem.
I'll audit whatever system is in place on day one. If it's missing features or overpriced, I can find something better — or build a custom solution. I have the development background to do either, at a fraction of what off-the-shelf costs.
Towing needs real-time dispatch, GPS tracking, and customer SMS as the truck approaches. Done right, this is a customer experience most towing competitors simply don't offer — and a serious market edge.
A shop that runs on systems — not on one person — is worth significantly more to a buyer. Every system I build moves us closer to your exit multiple.
The shop has a solid foundation — the right layout, an active bell-and-respond system, mechanics on the floor. With very little effort and minimal cost, we take it from "basic" to "I'd come back."
Fair assessment: The reception area isn't a disaster — it's just not finished. The infrastructure for a great customer experience is already there. We're not rebuilding; we're completing.
Building this website is not a task I'll outsource or delay. It's my primary expertise as a developer — and it won't be a basic informational page. It will be one of the best websites any mechanic shop in this market has ever had.
Clients log in and see the real-time status of their vehicle — what's been done, what's next, and estimated completion time. No more "let me call and check."
Customers describe their issue, select a service, and schedule a drop-off time — without speaking to a single person. Fully automated intake from first click to confirmed appointment.
No competitor in this market offers this level of digital experience. A shop that treats customers like this online keeps them for life — and earns referrals without asking.
Three focused months — stabilize, market, and fill every bay. This is how we recreate the revenue you envisioned when you started.
By years 2–3, the goal is a business that runs primarily on its own — with me acting at a board level, not in day-to-day operations. That's what commands a $1M+ exit multiple.
| Timeframe | Focus | My Role |
|---|---|---|
| Months 1–3 | Stabilize, market, fill bays | Hands-on operator |
| Months 4–12 | Grow revenue, activate towing fully | Active GM |
| Year 2 | Systems running, full team in place | Oversight + budget approvals |
| Year 3 | Documented, scalable, self-running operation | Board-level: payroll, strategy, approvals |
| Exit | Business runs without the owner — maximum valuation | Clean exit for both of us |
A buyer doesn't want to buy a job. They want to buy a business that runs without the owner in it every day. That's the difference between a $300K sale and a $1M+ sale — and it's exactly what we're building toward.
Here's exactly what I bring to the table, and how the money flows — in clear priority order with no ambiguity.
All profits above operating expenses repay my investment first. No one gets paid until I'm made whole. This protects us both and proves the model works before we start splitting upside.
Once the loan is repaid, profits equivalent to a market-rate GM salary come to me as operator compensation. Industry data: a GM running a 6-bay shop commands $65,000–$85,000/year. I'm proposing the conservative end. If the business doesn't reach this threshold, neither of us forces it.
Profits above the operator equivalent are split — 70% to you, 30% to me. Open to discussion. You built this; I'm building it up. That ratio reflects that.
🔑 Ownership vs. Control — An Important Distinction: You retain 100% ownership value until my loan is repaid and the operator equivalent is established — but operational control belongs to me from day one. You are an equity holder, not a decision-maker in the business. Your role is to review the P&L and watch your asset grow. At the appropriate milestone, I have the option — not an obligation — to purchase up to 30% equity from profits. No outside cash. No forced transaction. If the business never reaches that threshold, you retain full ownership value. What you give up is the burden of running it — not the reward of owning it.
You stop managing a problem. Your towing license gets activated. Your business grows into what you always knew it could be.
You are completely out of daily operations from day one. Permits, licensing, taxes, bookkeeping, payroll — all handled. You will not need to touch this business. Your only involvement is reviewing a weekly or monthly profit and loss statement so you always know exactly where things stand.
Your towing license generates real, recurring revenue — not just a line item on a future sale listing. We build it into something buyers pay for.
A documented, systemized, independently-running operation commands a premium at exit. That's what I'm building — and it's how your $1M vision becomes a real outcome.
You didn't have to take a lowball offer when things were rough. You held through to the number you always believed this was worth — because now the operation backs it up.
The only thing standing between you and your $1M exit is a competent operator who actually wants to be there.
That's what I'm offering to be.
Four things between here and building something worth selling.
Management role, loan structure, second property access, equity option — a handshake yes before paperwork.
Current revenue and expenses so I can confirm the numbers support the plan. Along with that, I'll need clarity on three additional items before we move forward:
Before any agreement is signed, I'll need a clear picture of the circumstances surrounding the previous partner's departure — and confirmation that there are no outstanding legal liabilities, claims, debts, or obligations tied to the business or its entity. This protects both of us and ensures we're building on a clean foundation.
One document that protects both of us. Clean, straightforward, attorney-reviewed.
I'm ready to move fast. Are you?
